Kosovo cuisine is much influenced by its history and inspired by both oriental and Mediterranean dishes. Thus, we often find on the menu dishes such as grilled peppers, burek, pite, laknor, sarmas or çorbe* accompanied by coleslaw, tomatoes and cucumber.
(*Filled pastries, pancakes, pies, stuffed cabbage, soup).
To warm up after a day of walking outdoors, nothing is better than a hot homemade dish accompanied by bread, tea or local drinks.

Likewise, what could be more pleasant than being awakened by the tantalising smell of bread baking in the wood stove! Prepared each morning by Gane, the bread accompanies a full breakfast: consisting of homemade cheese (feta), omelettes, tomatoes, cucumbers, various jams, honey and butter.
